King of Bittersweet
This is going to be quick (maybe) but I wanted to write something.
When I first listened to the radio versions of Bittersweet and Road to Glory I wrote something like "this single will be crap, but at leat they all look very handsome". Now the "they all look very handsome" part is still valid, because... well, they do look handsome. But it's a quite nice single.
Oh, but first, the covers: I know they look serious as always, but I like these ones. I don't know why, but I find them nice. Maybe it's the fall theme, maybe it's the bench, maybe it's Jun's ribbon. I don't know.
At first, (and by that I mean with the radio version, first eps of the drama, and that performance... somewhere) Bittersweet didn't tell me anything, I was finding it very boring. Now, maybe it's because I got used to it thanks to the drama, or maybe it's because I just needed few more listenings, now it's quite nice. I still think that the refrain is nothing special, but I really like the stanzas.
Same for the PV: after the short version I thought "how boring, they just stand there looking good", and... yes, they just stand there looking good, but now I actually like it? I don't know how many times I'll rewatch it, but it was pretty to watch. The setting, the colors... it was nice.
And you can't see it from the PV (of course, lately they only dance when they don't want to see them doing it. *coff coff* Paradox PV *coff coff*), but the choreo is really nice!!

Road to Glory: at first, I hated it. Now I don't, I recognize that it has some good things, like the lyrics and the refrain, but I still find it nothing special. Maybe because I was expecting something like their previous songs for the Olympics, which I liked A LOT more. Anyway, nothing great but it's ok!
Sync: my only thought about this song was 'NO', then I deleted it forever from my computer. I'll repeat it: NO.
Motto, ima yori: this one is... ok. Nothing special, again, but ok.
So, basically, the whole single is "nothing special but ok"... which is a lot better than what I was expecting, after LOVE XD

King of Otoko is great and I adore it. Their last main tracks were nice (Hibiki was really nice), but less... energetic? But I like this one a lot. And it's not the dumb kind of energetic, but the serious one... does this even make sense? Anyway, it's great.
And the PV!! So classy, so elegant, so dandy! Like Ohkura's coat. Or Maru's... thing. OR THEIR PANTS. (or TORN's existence, this is always very classy) I mean, if Yasu is the one dressed better, than you, stylist, have a lot of problems! But it's ok because it's somehow in the same verse of Mogura no Uta (ps: the director is Miike for both the movie and the PV). But the PV is great, seriously. Bless.
Also... I wanted to write something about their last Music Station performance.
Anemone: meh. Maybe I need to listen to it few more times, but seems nothing important.
Yume Ressha: LOVE. I fell in love with it after the first seconds, because that instrumental beginning is BEAUTIFUL. The whole song is, I love it ;___; I love the fact that among their b-sides you can always find some jewels (bansouuuuuuuuuu *_______*)
And that's it!
I'm still waiting for their concert dvds... no, wait, I'm not really thrilled about LOVE tour. But maybe it will have some Arafes digest? ... hope never dies.Also Aiba solo T_T

I don't care about the golden look, really. But... they were with Arashi, so a lot of Arashi fans saw them, of course. And it kinda pisses me off that Arashi fans see them only when they don't perfectly sing Arashi's songs (see the recent WaH perf) or when they're... I don't know, golden? Because most of Arashi fans a)don't like them at all, b)think they're loud and funny. Which is true. They're loud and funny and dumb, and they're kinda obsessed with boobs, but there's also so much more. There's a passion, a musical talent, that you really don't see in other Johnny's groups. So I'm just a bit upset that maybe a lot of people will think "Oh look, there are Kanjani8, fooling around like always. They're crazy!". But this is a problem of mine, like when I hate when they call Aiba "Aibaka" etc.

Sono d'accordissimo su TUTTO sia per Bittersweet che per King of
tornOtoko :pAggiungo solo che a me il PV di bittersweet non fa impazzire per niente, però il concept del treno epoca vittoriana mi piace♥
Più che altro non mi piacciono con le facce sempre smorte, anche se loro sono bellissimi.
La performance al MS invece è stata PERFEZIONE, erano sorridenti e felici e c'era il momento ohmiya e cuoricini e panchine per tutti e regali per Jun e... QUELLO per me è il PV, come avrebbe dovuto essere. Quindi sono felice di questa "ripresa" ^O^
Quanto a King of Otoko, non dirò nulla perché mi metterei a urlare, adoro tutto, tutto .__.

L'esibizione era carinissima ;_; gli costava tanto fare un PV in quello stile? Potevano anche non ballare se non ne avevano voglia. Bastava che girovagassero tra negozietti carini, panchine e fiorellini!
C'è così tanto Torn in questo singolo/pv/blaaaaa che mi viene da VOMITARE. Andatevene!!!!!!!! Cioè nel PV quando combattono schiena contro schiena T_T (e Ohkura ha le scarpe dorate perchè ok combattere, ma almeno facciamolo con stile) E quei maledetti profili!!! "Chimney è il braccio destro di Gnocchi" e quell'altro disagiato che non aveva nessuno con cui parlare e quindi si attaccava a Chimney MA PERCHE'? E anche gli altri T_T

Sì poi anche un Jun che saltellava con mazzi di fiori in giro mi andava benissimo (il che è tutto dire, se lo dico io) ma per l'appunto, essendoci stato il MS-Stupendo, per me il PV si è già estinto e sono felice *_*

And I dont like Yasu outfit too, why dont they let him design his own outfit, I bet it will be better
But I dont like King of Otoko actually :( When I saw the short version, I kinda of expect something more. But the whole story of PV is kind awkward. I mean action scene directed by Miike is great but it has none of story connection with the part directed bt Nakamura san, and the so call dance battle is awkward too. I do love the song, but PV kind of turn me down a little bit.
