Mikeneko Holmes no Suiri

Cast: Aiba Masaki, Fujiki Naohito, Okura Tadayoshi, Omasa Aya, Matsuko Deluxe, Omi Toshinori, Ishizaka Koji
Synopsis: Katayama Yoshitaro (Aiba Masaki) is a straightforward, meddlesome person loved by everyone. He also happens to be a hapless detective who gets dizzy when he sees blood, and fears heights as well as women. “I’m not suited to be a detective” he would mutter to himself, and hand in his resignation letter almost everyday. But it was the family rule that “there should be one detective in the family” and the dying wish of his famous detective father that prompted Yoshitaro become a detective. One day, he is sent off to conduct an investigation at a women’s college at the orders of the head of the First Investigative Division. To Yoshitaro, it is an excessively tragic event to be among females. As he staggers about, he encounters an intriguing tortoise-shell cat. It is a cat that understands human speech and occasionally displays exceptional powers of deduction. With the help of the cat, Yoshitaro is able to solve difficult cases and gradually grows into a famous detective.
Reasons: fufufufufu... let's say this: in this drama there are my two favourite idols (in fact Aiba is my favourite Arashi member and Ohkura is my favourite Kanjani member). If you have read all my flails in this last month, you already know how much I'm waiting for this drama AND for this collaboration between those two. I've never though about a drama with Aiba and Ohkura, but now... it's real *_* This makes me a happy happy happy fangirl

Synopsis: Popular idol Nishikido Ryo (Nishikido Ryo), member of Johnny & Associates’ Kanjani8, suddenly falls in love with an older, ordinary single mother (Yuka) of three children Mei, Hideto, Kana (Kawashima Umika, Imai Yuki, Tani Kanon) and decides to marry her. He does not report this to his management agency after the fact, but he is slapped with the choice of divorcing or dropping out within three months. The marriage of a member of Kanjani8 definitely has to be kept secret from their fans. If the marriage is found out, he will have to give up his career immediately. As Nishikido, now idol, husband and new father, agonises over this dilemma, his bonds with his family and band members grow deeper and he matures as a parent.
Reasons: fufufufufu - part2. Do I really have to tell why I want to watch it? Because there's Ryo. Because there's Ryo!papa. Because Ryo plays himself. Because there are Eito. Because Ohno and Sho will appear at the first ep. Because Yuka is Ryo's wife. Because it will be AWESOME
Kagi no Kakatta Heya

Synopsis: Enomoto Kei (Ohno Satoshi), an employee with a big security firm, is an oddity within the company. A crime prevention enthusiast, he spends each day in the supply store of the company building, absorbed in security research, particularly in the areas of keys and locks. He naturally has knowledge of security items including keys and locks and is very familiar with various theories relating to physics, chemistry and architecture. An aloof, calm and collected character with a confidence that there is no lock in this world that he cannot break. Through a strange turn of events, Enomoto is asked by a lawyer, Aoto Junko (Toda Erika), to dig out the truth of a locked room case at a mountain villa which had been classified as a suicide. With his acute insight and power of concentration, he is able to find the clue to crack cases thought to be the perfect crime and break into locked rooms. Junko is a honest, lovable lawyer who acts on instincts and sometimes says absurd things that causes trouble to the people around her. She suspects that Enomoto is a thief by profession because he is well-informed about keys and the construction of locks and has an obsessive knowledge about crime prevention. However, she slowly starts to notice his charm as he goes about solving the case.
Reasons: because Riida is like an assurance, when it comes to dramas, and because I was tired of Kaibutsu kun: I really want to see him in a more serious role. And he's one of my favourite actors, so I really can't wait to see him playing this role *_*
W no Higeki

Synopsis: Born into an ultrarich family that runs a big conglomerate, doe-eyed Watsuji Mako (Takei Emi) is to take over the family-run business in the future. This destiny was decided since the time of her birth. She grew up like a caged bird, smothered with the affection of family members (Terada Minori, Nogiwa Yoko, Wakamura Mayumi, Nakamura Shunsuke) and the people around her. Amidst this life of luxury which Mako regards as most inconvenient, she secretly yearns to grasp life with her own hands some day … … Kurasawa Satsuki (Takei Emi) is an orphan who has experienced loneliness and poverty on the fringe of the city. She has been very rebellious since she was a child and left the orphanage she grew up in at the same time she graduated from junior high school. Lying and cheating in order to live, she desires wealth and power more than anything else. Her goal in life is to become rich and seek revenge from where she stands at the top of the world. Mako and Satsuki have a fateful meeting and trade places with each other, but this plunges them into a tragedy as the tables are turned. Mako, who is clean and pure like a swan, is toughened up as she leads the life of the black swan. Satsuki, who is consumed by envy and animosity, gets mixed up in the complex relations of the Watsuji clan and an unexpected murder!
Reasons: when I was little I watched tons of movies with a similar plot XD And I always liked them XD Also: Emi!!! Kenta!!! Ghghgh.
Kaeru no Ojousama

Synopsis: Talk of merging the financially beleaguered Yume City with a neighbouring municipality is underway. Even the music hall which was a symbol of the once flourishing “town of music” has been slated for demolition to make way for a garbage disposal facility. On the other hand, legendary musical star Kurasaka Mio (Amami Yuki) who hails from Yume City finds herself out of luck when she suffers a setback in New York’s Broadway. Asked by her hometown teacher (Kuno Akiko) to make over the chorus group called the ‘Chansons’ which is now in a precarious position along with the music hall, the lofty Mio comes back to Japan. She teaches them to take a step forward and to never give up no matter what happens, but they are repulsed by her drastic teaching methods. On the other hand, Isaka Chuko (Ishida Yuriko), the daughter of the mayor (Kishibe Ittoku) responsible for promoting the merger and a key member of the ‘Chansons’, struggles to rally the group. Chuko comes from a family that has carried on the tradition of Japanese imperial court music. She has a younger husband, Tetsuro (Koizumi Kotaro), and lives modestly but life gets eventful with Mio’s apperance … … Mio the maverick tries to redefine the notion of choral singing and introduce dancing to transform the ‘Chansons’ into a show choir. However, this meets with opposition from the conservative Chuko who tries to uphold traditions. Nevertheless, the bonds between the two of them grow stronger even as they clash with each other in their bid to revive the group’s fortunes.
Reasons: I don't know why, but I'm really interested in this one! And in the cast there are few people I like, and it's a plus XD (Yuko!!!)
Clover

Synopsis: The story depicts the daily lives of three high school delinquents (Hayato, Tomoki, and Kenji) who renew their childhood friendship after Hayato returns to his hometown after a long time away. The three of them occasionally fight and get into trouble, but their friendship helps them overcome various obstacles.
Reasons: I'm really, really happy that Kento finally has his own starring role, and in a drama where he can play what he can do better: the yankee. I'm happy for him ^^ My beloved Nippori kun <3 Anyway, it's the kind of drama I like: yankees, school, friendship... I love these kind of things!
Things I want to watch in the future
Since there are already so many things I want to watch, I'll watch the following dramas when they'll be complete (and when I'll have time XD)
Legal High

Synopsis: Komikado Kensuke (Sakai Masato) passed the bar exam while studying in the law faculty of a third-rate university and opened a law firm. A person with character defects, he is cranky, caustic, temperamental, cynical, proud and spendthrift; loves money, prestige and women. Because of that, he has the worst reputation within the legal profession. But he has never once lost a case and will do whatever it takes because of his conviction that “winners are right”. The people around him are skeptical of his way of doing things. However, Komikado gradually realises that his vision of justice is a pipe dream, and begins to remember the spirit of fighting and not giving up that he had forgotten. Mayuzumi Machiko (Aragaki Yui) is an earnest rookie lawyer who has a strong sense of justice and is passionate about the socially vulnerable but tactless and inflexible. A strange turn of events result in the two of them working together as colleagues, but the two of them fight like like cat and dog, and clash over almost everything.
Reasons: read the synopsis. Ok, I'm already in love with the main character *_* I've seen Sakai Masato for the first time in Nankyoku Tairiku and really liked him, so I'm lloking foward to his performance. And Gakki will be a lawyer again XD
Akko to Bokura ga Ikita Natsu

Synopsis: Omiya Yoko (Kawashima Umika) whose nickname is Akko, is the vivacious manager of the her high school’s baseball club. In June of her second year, she is told that she has asopharyngeal cancer when she undergoes a checkup for a neck pain. This comes as a shock to her, but she takes courage from the baseball club members who devote themselves to practice with their sights set on playing at the Koshien Stadium, and decides to have treatment. The captain and the members promise to bring Akko to the Koshien. Akko tolerates the painful treatment in the belief that the day will come when she can return to the field, her spirits kept up by the winning ball that the club will deliver with their victory. The desire to encourage Akko rouses the team members, and they secure a place to make their debut at the stadium in summer. However, the illness ravages her body until she is no longer able to go to the Koshien Stadium … …
Reasons: it seems so sad T___T No, really. But I can do it... yeah, I can. And I like the two main actors, especially Umika chan. Anyway: T___T
Hidamari no Ki

Synopsis: In the chaos of the last days of the Tokugawa shogunate, two young men bound by the bonds of firm friendship stand by their convictions as they try to create lives for themselves, walk the path they believed and die in the course of destiny. Ibuya Manjiro (Ichihara Hayato) is a boorish, low-ranking samurai who serves the Hitachifuchu domain. Although Ibuya is skilled, he is terrible at making his way in life because he is honest to a fault. The single-minded Ibuya lives for justice and is loyal to the shogunate which is on the verge of collapse. In contrast to Ibuya, Tezuka Ryoan (Narimiya Hiroki), a fine doctor of Western medicine, is usually an irresponsible womaniser, but a compassionate person who would go all out for his patients … …
Reasons: I don't know. I think I want to watch a period drama, and this seems good. I like the two main actors, so... this ^^
Korean Dramas
This season there are few of them too O_O
But I'll watch them when they'll be complete, because 1)they're long and I'm already watching too many things 2)I'm not able to watch korean dramas when they're still airing, because I find them too slow XD
Love Rain

Synopsis: "Love Rain" depicts a 1970's pure love and a love from the present day at the same time. It shows how the offsprings of a previous ill-fated couple, who met in the 1970s, managed to meet and fall in love. Seo In Ha and Kim Yoon Hee, a art student and a shy beauty, met and fell in love with each other during college in the 1970s but unfortunately their love was fated to never be. Now in the present 21st century Korea, Seo In Ha's son, Seo Joon (a liberal photographer) meets and falls in with the daughter of Kim Yoon Hee, Jung Ha Na, a cheerful and energetic girl who's personality is different from her mother's. Will their love for each other keep them together or will they have to face the same fate as their parents?
Reasons: ok, the story seems really good ç_ç This is the main reason. I'm not really Jang Geun Suk's fan, I like the drama I watched with him in it, he's quite good and all, but I don't love him. BUT I love Yoona <3 She's my fav Girls' Generation member, so I really want to watch her acting
Rooftop Prince

The strongest KPOP Survival

In the process, she meets Kang Woo Hyun, the leader of the popular idol group, M2, who captivates fans with a killer smile that masks his rude and selfish personality.
Reasons: haha, I like this kind of things XD Though it reminds me a bit of Dream High and a bit of You're Beautiful
