ri90italy , meeting with some high school friends, first lesson of Japanese with the lovely hika86 , terrible volley match), but yesterday I watched ‘BECK’ the movie (I’ve been waiting for this live action for ages, and when I saw that the subbed version was released I was happy like a monkey), and... well, I HAVE to talk about it!!
Here are two trailers
First of all, let’s talk about the cast. Oh, what a wonderful cast.
SATO TAKERU as Yukio Tanaka (called Koyuki) – guitar & voice
I’m a Takeru fan since ‘Mei-chan no Shitsuji’; I love him, and I’m happy that recently they’re giving him more space, because he deserves it! I like very much his way of acting!
He was perfect as Koyuki: a guy that at the beginning is bored of his life, that is bullied from his schoolmates... everything changes when he meets Minami (Mizushima Hiro); he finds a passion, friends, and a place where he belongs (and he finds also a cute girl XD).
MIZUSHIMA HIRO as Ryusuke Minami - guitar
It’s a pity that they have ruined him in this movie XD Such a handsome guy... with a terrible hairstyle!! Well. Hiro is always good, and in this movie I like him a lot. After the trailer I’ve thought that his character was far more ‘cool’, bur fortunately I wasn’t right: I prefer him when he’s ‘not so cool’, when he’s a bit more ‘idiotic' XD (for example, I prefer him more in ‘HanaKimi’ than in ‘Mei-chan no Shitsuji’).
And I’ve also discovered that he has a nice English pronunciation! (even if the scenes where he talks with Eddie make me laugh a lot XD)
KIRITANI KENTA as Tsunemi Chiba - voice
This guy is a problem!! Before ‘BECK’ I’ve seen him in ‘Ryuusei no Kizuna’ (the post-itto man XD) and in ‘Rookies’ (Hiracchi) and my thought about him was: this guy is a complete IDIOT. I mean, he PLAYS always the role of the bigger idiot of the world. In ‘BECK’... well, he isn’t very normal here too, BUT!.. He’s actually cool! Very very very cool!! Dear Kiritani Kenta, now I see you under a different light! He was so cool while rapping! (how many times I’ve written the word ‘cool’???)
MUKAI OSAMU as Yoshiyuki Taira - bass
Well. Mukai Osamu is GOD. One of the few Japanese who looks good with blond hair. Taira is the classic ‘cool’ character: he doesn’t talk so much, he plays the bass divinely, he’s beautiful and he does those smiles that... God, I could die. And he’s so cute when he claps while Chiba is beating that assholes!
Essentially: he’s wonderful.
NAKAMURA AOI as Yuji Sakurai – drums
I know this guy as ‘the cute boy that Nino kissed in ‘Ohoku’’ XD And he actually has a very cute face.
Saku is a bit more important in the first half of the movie, when he supports Koyuki that is trying to learn playing the guitar and defends him from their schoolmates, while in the second half he does a bit less.
But he has such a cute smile!
What else? The story is nice, I liked it. Awesome music. Awesome cast.
The only thing that ‘disappointed’ me a bit was that they didn’t let us hear Koyuki’s miraculous voice... well, we can’t have the world.
Conclusion: it’s awesome!!
(I love it so much that I absolute wanted an icon... and I've made it myself XD Also, this is my first icon that I'm quit proud of! My other attempts were quite a failure XD)

Date: 2011-03-03 09:33 pm (UTC)Io lo stavo aspettando da quando è uscito al cinema, quindi da ottobre, perchè il cast era veramente qualcosa su cui potrei sbavare per giorni interi. E sì, mizushima Hiro me l'hanno conciato proprio male T_T Quando inrealtà è un così bel giovine T_T
Kiritani Kenta!!! Mio Dio!!!! In Ryuusei era insopportabile! Mi dava troppo fastidio!! Poi l'ho visto in un altro drama dove era semplicemente un persoaggio idiotissimo, poi qui l'ho rivalutato XD
Il film è bello bello *_* Anche se di attori che ci sono conosci solo il posto-itto te lo consiglio, quando ti sara fatta una scorpacciata arashica XD
(Love so sweet l'hai cantata bene!! Sapevi quasi tutte le parole! E non parliamo dei MIEI tentativi XD)

I totally forgot Sato Takeru was in mei-chan no shitsuji. And Kiritani Kenta OMG I DIDNT EVEN RECOGNIZE HIM AS THE POST-ITTO MAN!! He had such a creepy role in ryusei no kizuna >.>
The only person I don't know is Hakamura Aoi, but if he kissed Nino then I have nothing to say *_* Oh and I dislike long hair on guys, so I totally agree with Hiro's hairstyle.

This Nakamura guy... well, I have seen him only in Ohoku trailer XD So I don't know much about him (except that he's cute XDXD)
